Stalking is STILL misunderstood as a celebrity problem, a ‘nuisance’ crime and, in many cases, dealt with as such.
Tackling stalking is about murder prevention and a reducing the psychological damage to victims and those around them.
Mandatory psychiatric assessment is needed.
Better support and help for crime victims is needed. If necessary, help to rehabilitate and recover back into life – just like criminals receive. Why are victims not entitled to this too?
